This will be a fiery week for tennis. The Monte Carlo Rolex Masters (From Sunday 14th to Sunday 21st, April 2019) is ready to take the centre stage of this seven days, with the fantastic background of the Monte Carlo Country Club.
The most glamorous and luxurious tournament of the season - third ATP Masters 1000 of the year - will see the great protagonists of the ATP Tour on the courts: Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, Dominic Thiem, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Gael Monfils, Kei Nishikori and all the others.
Absent Roger Federer (who will come back to play on clay courts this season after two years) and Juan Martin del Potro. For men's tennis, this is the week that will open the doors of the real clay season, which like every year will culminate with the French Open.
For the girls, there will be the Fed Cup semi-finals. In Rouen, France (on indoor clay courts - ed.) France will challenge Romania. In Brisbane, in Australia (on hard courts) Australia will meet Belarus. The winning teams will meet for the final, in the weekend of November 9th and 10th.
Finally, there will also be four ATP Challengers: An-Ning (China, on clay courts), San Luis Potosi (Mexico, on clay courts), Sarasota (USA, on clay courts) and in Tunis (Tunisia, on clay courts).
