In the middle of September (from 16th to 22nd) there will be six very interesting events, which will engage many protagonists on the court. But above all it will be the week of the Laver Cup (during the weekend from 20th to 22nd).
On the Geneve indoor hard-courts, Team Europe, led by Bjorn Borg, will have Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Alexander Zverev, Dominic Thiem, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Roberto Bautista and Fabio Fognini. World Team, led by John McEnroe, will have John Isner, Milos Raonic, Nick Kyrgios, Taylor Fritz, Denis Shapovalov, Jordan Thompson and Jack Sock.
Men will play two ATP tournaments: the St. Petersburg Open (Russia, ATP 250 on indoor hard-courts) and the Moselle Open (France, ATP 250 on indoor hard-courts). In Russia there will be Daniil Medvedev, Karen Khachanov and Matteo Berrettini.
In France there will be Nikoloz Basilashvili, David Goffin, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Lucas Pouille. Women will play three events: the Pan Pacific Open (Japan, WTA Premier on hard-courts), the Guangzhou Open (China, WTA International on hard courts), and the Korea Open (Sourth Korea, on hard-courts).
In Japan, in the city of Osaka, there will be ... Naomi Osaka! And also Angelique Kerber, Kiki Bertens, Sloane Stephens, Garbine Muguruza and Petra Martic. In China there will be Elina Svitolina, Qiang Wang and Sofia Kenin. In South Korea there will be Maria Sakkari, Ajla Tomljanovic and Jelena Ostapenko.
This seven days there will also be the following ATP Challenger tournaments: the OEC Kaohsiung (Taiwan, on indoor carpet), the Columbus Challenger (USA, on indoor hard courts), the Thindown Challenger Biella (Italy, on clay-courts), the Sibiu Open (Romania, on clay-courts) and the Murray Trophy - Glasgow (United Kingdom, on indoor hard-courts).
