There are only a few weeks to go until the end of the 2019 tennis season. In this last week of October all the women and men stars will play two tournaments: the Paris Rolex Masters (France, ATP Masters 1000 played on indoor hard-courts) and the WTA Finals (China, played on indoor hard-courts).
At Paris-Bercy the greatest tennis players on the planet will take the court, in order to play the last ATP Masters 1000 of the year, which will precede the ATP Finals in London. Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev, Dominic Thiem, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Gael Monfils, Stan Wawrinka, Milos Raonic, Grigor Dimitrov, John Isner, Matteo Berrettini, Karen Khachanov and David Goffin challenge the Parisian indoor hard-courts to crown their season.
Wild-card for Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. In Shenzhen, girls will play the last tournament of the season before the Fed Cup, the WTA Finals, which after five years in Singapore will change backgrounds. In the Red Group there will be Ashleigh Barty, Naomi Osaka, Petra Kvitova and Belinda Bencic.
In the Purple Group there will be Karolina Pliskova, Bianca Andreescu, Simona Halep and Elina Svitolina. This seven days there will also be five ATP Challenger events: the Shenzhen Longhua Open (China, on hard-courts), the Charlottesville Men's Pro Challenger (USA, on indoor hard-courts), the City of Playford Tennis International II (Australia, on hard-courts), the Challenger Eckental (Germany, on indoor carpet-courts) and the Challenger Ciudad de Guayaquil (Equador, on clay-courts).
