Australian Open day 13: Sofia Kenin is the new Queen of Melbourne

Sofia Kenin is the new queen of the Australian Open! The 22 years-old American won her first Slam tournament by defeating Garbine Muguruza in three sets, showing a great tennis and fantastic mental strength. She got her 4th career title.

Barbora Krejcikova and Nikola Mektic are the new champions of the mixed doubles. They defeated Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Jamie Murray in three amazing sets in the final. Agnieszka Radwanska is pregnant! Former world number 2, who retired in 2018, announced her motherhood via social media: "The time has come for a new phase of life" she wrote on her Instagram profile, accompanying these words with the photo of two small shoes.

After getting 100 wins in two different Grand Slam tournaments (Wimbledon and Australian Open) and becoming the fourth oldest semi-finalist in the Slams, Roger Federer broke Pete Sampras's record of victories at the 5th set.

Another great achievement for King Roger. Talking about the Swiss Maestro: he was photographed with an evident bandage on his right leg. Federer suffered a groin injury during the match against Tennys Sandgres, who also conditioned his semi-final against Novak Djokovic.

Tomorrow last day of the Australian Open 2020: men's singles final between Novak Djokovic and Dominic Thiem and men's doubles final!
