The sixth week of the 2020 tennis season presents five events to fans, media and crowds: three ATP Tournaments and two WTA tournaments. Men will play at the Rotterdam Open (ATP 500 played on indoor hard-courts), the New York Open (ATP 250 played on indoor hard-courts) and at the Argentina Open (ATP 250 played on clay-courts).
In Rotterdam there will be the two big disappointments of the Australian Open: Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas. With them also Karen Khachanov, Denis Shapovalov, Grigor Dimitrov, Fabio Fognini, David Goffin and Gael Monfils.
Jannik Sinner got a wild-card. In New York the stars will be John Isner, Nick Kyrgios, Milos Raonic and Tennys Sandgren. In Buenos Aires there will be Diego Schwartzman, Guido Pella, Christian Garin, Borna Coric and Fernando Verdasco.
Women will play at the St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy (WTA Premier played on indoor hard-courts) and at the Thailand Open (WTA international played on hard-courts). In St. Petersburg there will be Petra Kvitova, Kiki Bertens, Marketa Vondrousova, Donna Vekic, Maria Sakkari, Yulia Putintseva and Kristina Mladenovic.
Belinca Bencic and Johanna Konta got a wild-card. In Hua Hin Elina Svitolina will lead the draw. Eugenie Bouchard and Petra Martic got a wild-card. This week there will also be three ATP Challengers: the Bengaluru Open (India, played on hard-courts), the Cleveland Challenger (USA, played on indoor hard-courts) and the Challenger La Manche (France, played on indoor hard-courts) .
