There could be an important ban or big fine for Oceane Dodin, the French tennis player who skipped the Fed Cup play-offs tie against Spain despite she was chosen. 'I spoke to her with my heart and I did everything as possible', said the captain Yannick Noah.
'Then it's her problem, not mine. My problem is to take care about who are here.' According to L'Equipe, Dodin, who was in Fed Cup team only last year in Marseille without playing, earned around 400.000 euros from when she started her career: - 100.000 euros of scholarships for National programs; - Between 100,000 and 150,000 euros for paying her coach (Georges Goven) for a year between 2014 and 2015; - 150.000 euros of total earnings in the tournaments she received wild card invitations (five from Grand Slams, seven in the French events).
All this money spent without having her available to play Fed Cup: federation does not obviously like it and now Dodin could get banned for five years from French events. ALSO READ: Yannick Noah: 'Kids, learn by Nadal because there is only one Federer'
