Dawid Celt, Radwanska's coach and husband, becomes Fed Cup captain

Dawid Celt will be Poland's new Fed Cup team captain. Agnieszka Radwanska's second coach and husband will replace Klaudia Jans-Ignacik in the new role by 1 January 2018. Ignacik retired due to personal reasons. 'David has a big knowledge of women's tennis', the Polish tennis federation chief Mirosław Skrzypczyński said.

'He has an idea of how to work in the team.' In early February, just after Australian Open, Polish team will play in the Europe-Africa Group I against Austria, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Georgia and many more.

Radwanska is coming from a tough season where she suffered injuries and struggled to play at her best. She left top 20 and is now World No. 28. ALSO READ: Tennis is the second most watched sport on TV in Spain
