Sweden are in Event B of the Fed Cup zonal tie this week in Tallinn alongside Luxembourg, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Sweden and Turkey. Seven teams will compete in Tallinn on 5-8 February 2020, across one Pool of 4 teams and one Pool of 3 teams (Pools A & B).
The winners of each pool will play-off against the runners-up from the opposite pool to determine which two nations will advance to the Play-offs. For Sweden, Johanna Larsson will be one of the key members of the team. Speaking to the Tennis.se website, Larsson says, "It's still just as fun with the Fed Cup I love to play for Sweden and in teams.
We may not feel that much pressure this time, but at the same time there is always pressure to play for Sweden. You want things to go well for the team and the other girls. There are fun countries to meet and we will have a good chance, that's always the case in the Fed Cup.
There will be tight matches. It had been really nice with victory against Luxembourg and spin on it against Serbia. This time, The Swedish team will be without Rebecca Peterson and Caijsa Hennemann while Fanny Östlund and Julia Lövqvist have got the chance to play for Sweden.
"It is always fun to get to know new people, and then it is clear that with Rebecca gone it is a big break as she has performed best." You can view the full video on Larsson speaking below -
