Which Country has the largest numerical representation of tennis players in the ATP world ranking? Well, it is France, which places itself ahead of the United States. Australia is in third place. As mentioned, France ended 2023 with this record, bringing 12 tennis players into the Top-100.

The first French tennis player you come across when scrolling through the ATP ranking is Hugo Humbert who ended the year at No.20. United States places 10 players in the top 100 in the world. At the moment there are Taylor Fritz, Tommy Paul and Frances Tiafoe, although all eyes are on Ben Shelton.

Third position for Australia which has 8 players ranked in the top 100 in the world. Spain and Russia follow with 7 appearances each. Here Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev lead respectively. With 6 appearances in the top 100 in the world, Germany and Argentina are tied.

Then comes Italy who has 5 players in the top 100. Followed by Serbia with number 1 Novak Djokovic and Great Britain with 4 appearances. Then there are Chile and Japan with three players in the Top-100. The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Croatia, Austria, Switzerland and Hungary have two caps.

One player only for Greece, Denmark, Poland, Norway, Bulgaria, Canada, Kazakhstan, China, Portugal, Finland, Brazil, Peru and Colombia.

Will things change in the new tennis season?

Are there any prospects that things could change next season? Frankly, I believe that, just looking at the numbers and the tennis players involved, the situation could more or less remain the same, if you only look at the number of tennis players representing each country.

It must be said that, obviously, tennis is an unpredictable sport, with many variations, so some kind of surprise cannot be categorically ruled out! Coming back to talk about the upcoming tennis season, 2024 will finally mark Rafael Nadal's come back on the court.

The Spaniard will be at the ATP 250 in Brisbane. But not only Rafa. In 2024 there will also be the come back of Angelique Kerber, Emma Raducanu and Nick kyrgios.
