Alcaraz already has crazy numbers despite his very young age

Reaching the top of world tennis is a result that few can achieve, staying there for almost two years is like a champion. And Carlos Alcaraz is proving once again that he is.

As mentioned, with the success at Indian Wells last week, the 20-year-old Spaniard confirmed his second position in the ranking, extending his streak of consecutive weeks in the Top 2 to 80.

Since he rose to number 1, after winning the 2022 US Open, the two-time Slam champion has never dropped below second position in the men's ranking. 36 weeks from ATP No.1, 44 from No.2, behind Novak Djokovic.

An impressive data, which testifies to the consistency of results of the young Spanish tennis player.

Speaking to ATP on the eve of the Miami Open, Carlitos expressed the possibility of completing the Sunshine Doubles, following his triumph at Indian Wells last week.

"Not many tennis players have managed to complete the Sunshine Double. For me it would be incredible. It would be something very big to be one of the tennis players capable of winning the ATP Masters 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami in the same year. So I will try and I don't really see "It's time to start here in Miami. Obviously I will fight to reach the goal," he explained.
