The French tennis federation Bernard Giudicelli commentend through his official Facebook account the Maria Sharapova's decision not to receive a wild card to play in the Wimbledon main draw and so she will be forced to play three qualies matches.
'I support this decision, it's honourable for her', said Giudicelli. 'I will never support any player, whatver is his/her level or palmares, can have facilitation without earning her place. Everyone knows that after a punishment there is the purgatory.
She knows it too. This is the moral of the story.' Sharapova who recently tweeted she is ready to fight and play as well as possible: ''I will be getting all the necessary examinations to make sure it's not serious.
I want to thank the tournament for giving me the opportunity to play in this special event again.'
