Goran Ivanisevic: Novak Djokovic came and caught Federer and Nadal's records

Coach Goran Ivanisevic insists that world No. 1 Novak Djokovic is an absolutely honest person as he always says what he thinks and does what he wants. Djokovic, ranked at No. 1 in the world, tied Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal on the all-time Grand Slam record list after winning his 20th Grand Slam title at this past Wimbledon.

Djokovic caught up Federer and Nadal in the Grand Slam titles and now he is the frontrunner to finish with the most Majors one day. "Novak appeared at the top of world tennis after Federer and Nadal, when they had already gained a large number of fans.

Then a Balkan man came and messed up all their accounts. Novak says what he thinks, and many don't like it. He speaks five languages, he is extremely intelligent, he is interested in everything and has his own way of life.

Some like the way he eats, some don't like it, some laugh at the meditation he is dedicated to, while he fully believes in it. I admire him. I watch him in the morning like practicing yoga for an hour and a half, in an indescribable, fascinating way," Ivanisevic told Jutarnji.

Djokovic wasn't joined by his father at Wimbledon

"When I'm in his box, I play every ball with him. And I influence the people in his box that they also behave like me, I tell them: Look at me and behave like that.

When I'm not there, it's a little bit different. Unfortunately, now my wife and I wanted to come to Wimbledon, but they didn't let us. There horrible people did not allow us to go and watch him, because we had to go in quarantine for a week, even though the stadium was full with 15,00016,000 people.

They didn't let us watch our son; I'll never forget that. Now we wanted to go to Tokyo, and we could not go either," Djokovic senior said.
