Nikola Mektic backs Novak Djokovic's PTPA: The ATP is a puppet of large corporations

Croatia's Nikola Mektic says he is "absolutely with Novak Djokovic" as the Croatian supports Djokovic's PTPA organization. Djokovic co-founded the PTPA alongside Vasek Pospisil as the Serb claims the PTPA's main goal is to ensure better rights for all players.
It's not a secret that the ATP is not happy about the emergence of PTPA. Mektic believes players would have much better rights if represented by the PTPA. "We are absolutely with Novak. I know much less than Novak..." Mektic said during his appearance on Sport Klub's Wish & Go podcast, as quoted on Sportskeeda.
"ATP is simply an organization that is a puppet of large corporations."
Djokovic set to soon speak about the Australia visa debacle
Djokovic met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic last Thursday. Djokovic thanked everyone who was supporting him during the Australia visa drama and said he plans to address the situation in 7-10 days.
"Thank you for the welcome," Djokovic said during his meeting with Serbian President Vucic. "Today I wanted to see you, as a citizen of Serbia, to thank you for your support, as well as all the institutions during the unfortunate events in Australia.
Although I was detained alone, I did not feel lonely, I had the support of my family, friends, the entire Serbian people, many well-meaning people from all over the world tried personally and publicly to make my time in Australia easier.
You had no obligation to provide support, but I want you to know that I feel great gratitude that you stood up for me, put yourself in a compromising situation. That is appreciated and respected, I will remember it for a long time and my connection and my attitude towards the Serbian people is getting stronger day by day.
Those circumstances that happened to me in Australia taught me and that bond will last forever. Since I did not speak before, please be patient, in the next seven to ten days I will address in more detail everything that happened in Australia."
