He said about Boris: "I didn't communicate directly with him, but through his family.

I was delighted to host his fiancée and his son in the first round. They will visit Boris in the next few days. I'm just trying to give my support to the people close to him, to his family. I consider Boris a member of my family; he is someone I have always respected.

We have shared many amazing moments during our collaboration. Even after ending our professional relationship, we have always kept in touch. It breaks my heart to see what's going on, I can't imagine how hard it must be for her family.

They know they can count on me for everything they need." Djokovic defeated Thanasi Kokkinakis in three sets and gained access to the third round of the Championships. His next opponent will be fellow countryman Miomir Kecmanovic, who he has already beaten twice in the ATP Tour. In both cases, however, the match was played on Belgrade clay. Djokovic has only granted Kecmanovic a set on one occasion.
