Greg Rusedski thinks Novak Djokovic will win at least a Grand Slam or two next year. This year, 36-year-old Djokovic won three Grand Slam titles and became the first-ever male player with 24 Grand Slams. Most recently, Djokovic won the US Open after beating Daniil Medvedev in the US Open final.

"He was struggling with heat strokes during that match because it was really hot in Cincinnati. He knows how to manage those situations, took a little more time, had the trainer come out, won that second set, and then all of a sudden, he pushed his win to the third set.

Novak knew how to handle bigger situations. That was the defining match that got him to win the US Open. Novak will be very pleased about 3-4 Majors this year and number 24. But also, coming up next year he's got the Australian Open, his most successful Major, so I have a feeling 25-26 is in store for next year at least," Rusedski said on Tennis Channel's Inside-In podcast, via Sportskeeda.

Following his US Open triumph, Djokovic also tied Margaret Court's all-time tennis record of 24 Grand Slams.

In 2024, Djokovic will be aiming to become the first-ever tennis player to win 25 Grand Slams. Djokovic wants to win more Grand Slams but he is not chasing a specific number. “I don’t put any number right now in my mind on how many slams I want to win until the end of my career.

I don’t really have any number. I’ll continue to prioritize them as my most important tournaments and where I want to play the best tennis. So that will not change. That will stay the same in the next season or I don’t know how many more seasons I have in my legs. So let’s see," Djokovic said.
