Croatian news magazine Nacional is reporting that Goran Ivanisevic is earning weekly "between €6-10k" for coaching Novak Djokovic. When those numbers are converted to 12 months, it is estimated that Ivanisevic is earning yearly between €300-500k.

Also, Nacional reports that Ivanisevic has bonuses that land him 10 percent of Djokovic's prize money whenever the Serb wins a Grand Slam. If that's correct, Ivanisevic has netted around €300k for Djokovic's three Grand Slam wins in 2023.

However, it should be noted that neither Ivanisevic nor Djokovic have ever publicly spoken about the Croatian's salary. Nacional may have some insiders but this information still stands as unofficial.

Ivanisevic on coaching Djokovic

Ivanisevic, the 2001 Wimbledon champion, was added to Djokovic's coaching staff in 2019.

Since then, the two have enjoyed great success together as Djokovic has collected nine titles since adding the Croatian tennis legend to his team. Just recently, Ivanisevic spoke about coaching Djokovic. “You always have stress.

There are five of us in the team, but everything is always my fault. That’s how it is when you are a coach. On the court, people saw me as a savage or semi-savage, but I’m quite different off the court. I’m quite calm.

No one believed that I could become a good coach. You need to know how to bury the ego. You don’t matter anymore. The player is important," Ivanisevic said during the Entrepreneurial Attitude conference. Also, Ivanisevic that he is privileged to be working with "a genius.

"I am happy to train a genius, the best tennis player of all time and one of the best athletes in general. It’s unfortunate that only wins count. The final is not good, it’s like you didn’t even come to the tournament.

It’s easier for me because we are from the same region. I understand a lot of the things he does and I’m prepared for them in advance. I did the same, but now as a coach I have to be more calm and composed," Ivanisevic said.
