Novak Djokovic will start the 2024 season starting from the United Cup. The new event, which brings together players of the same nationality, will take place again between the end of one year and the beginning of the other.

To be precise, from 29 December 2023 to 7 January 2024, in Australia, in Perth and Sydney. The deadline for national team registrations has now passed and the teams have been built. There are other teams that have brought the real number ones to the United Cup.

Serbia will take the court with the current world number one Novak Djokovic. With him there will be Hamad Medjedovic, protégé of the 24-time Slam champion, Nikola Cacic. Among the women Olga Danilovic, Natalija Stevanovic, Dejana Radanovic.

For Poland, the number one players from their respective circuits will be on the pitch: Iga Swiatek and Hubert Hurkacz will be there.

USA, Greece, Australia, Germany and Italy

USA, will not have the super power seen in the previous edition.

In fact, Frances Tiafoe and Madison Keys will be missing and Taylor Fritz and Jessica Pegula will remain available for the competition. US champion Coco Gauff is also out.

Greece number one players also return: Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari will once again lead the Hellenic national team.

Australia took advantage of the wild card, given that they will host the tournament, and will field Alex De Minaur and Ajla Tomljanović, who should aim for 2024 as the date to fully return to the circuit. Germany on the court with Alexander Zverev and Angelique Kerber, another player who chose the United Cup to secure her return.

As regards Italy, we were already aware of the presence of Lorenzo Sonego and Jasmine Paolini. Jannik Sinner prefers another schedule for the second time in a row, while Matteo Berrettini and Lorenzo Musetti choose a new path.

Flavio Cobolli, Andrea Pellegrino, Nuria Brancaccio, Angelica Moratelli are the four names that complete the Italian team away in Australia.
