Nick Kyrgios predicts Novak Djokovic will land another Australian Open title in January. After being deported from Australia in 2022 January, Djokovic made the most impressive possible comeback to Australia this year - extending his all-time Australian Open record to 10 titles.

Djokovic is now a record 24-time Grand Slam champion and his biggest Slam success has come at Melbourne Park. Since becoming a Grand Slam champion at the 2008 Australian Open, Djokovic has won it all at Melbourne Park nine more times.

"Betting against Novak in Australia has almost become like betting against Rafa at Roland Garros. Rafa fourteen times on the dirt, in Australia, it's ten times for Novak and he didn't show us anything today or this week that's going to dissuade I think any of us from thinking that," Jim Courier said on Tennis Channel.

Kyrgios agreed with Courier's prediction: "Yeah, boring prediction from me. I think Novak, as well. He's so comfortable in Australia and after last year, he was basically untouchable as well. No signs of slowing down, so I'm going with Novak as well."

Djokovic, 36, hasn't lost at the Australian Open since 2018. After winning three consecutive Australian Open titles between 2019 and 2021, Djokovic wasn't able to go for his fourth consecutive title at Melbourne Park in 2022.

After not participating at the 2022 Australian Open, Djokovic returned to Melbourne earlier this year and continued his winning streak. After landing his 10th Australian Open title this year, Djokovic also went on to reach the finals in all other Grand Slams this year - the Serb won the French Open and the US Open, while he ended as runner-up at Wimbledon.

Djokovic had an outstanding Slam year in 2023 and many have him as the early No 1 favorite for the 2024 Australian Open title.
