From crutches to shots on the lawn, in the company of your son. The 24-time Grand Slam champion also returned to hold the much-loved racket, giving an important signal to all his fans and opponents: "Tennis, I missed you.

We continue to build day after day," he wrote as a caption.

Novak Djokovic wants to return on court

Speaking on Eurosport, Arnaud Di Pasquale spoke about Novak Djokovic: ”He knows very well that it is a tournament in which he is capable of beating these young people again. Even more perhaps than on clay in fact.

There is this obvious desire to be ready for Wimbledon, because time is passing and he knows very well that the end is approaching.

Finally, on the Grand Slam tournaments which are physically tough, but which are different in duration and endurance than a Roland Garros, or tournaments like the US Open or the Australian Open.”

Having ascertained his presence at the next Olympics in Paris, everyone wonders if Nole will be able to participate in the upcoming edition of Wimbledon with such a margin to prepare.

Just over a week before the London Grand Slam began, Djokovic decided to show progress in post-operation work on concrete, not exactly the same surface as the Championships.

Is it therefore to be interpreted as a hint of surrender? Quite another. Often in the past the Belgrade tennis player after the red season has moved on hard, to be ready to swing on the grass.

Impossible to predict his plans at this time, but such a clue is not to be taken lightly. The former number one has a mad desire to redeem a season so far stingy with emotions and successes, as had never happened in his career.

What better occasion than the tournament that in recent years has given him enormous satisfaction? From July 1st, the official start of the Major, the Serbian will have to give an opinion on his participation.
