Novak Djokovic: 'It's a tragedy what Bautista Agut went through'

Roberto Bautista Agut will be Novak Djokovic's next opponent, and the Serbian is aware that it will be a special match. The Spaniard has been going through a difficult time, as her mother Ester died last week. 'It's a tragedy', Djokovic admitted in an interview to Sport Klub.

'I have seen him and I express my condolences this way as well. He is going through a lot of emotions, as a human being I wish him to stay strong.' Analyzing the upcoming match, Djokovic added: 'Tennis-wise, I know I have to be patient and to dictate points at the same time.

Inside-out FH is his biggest weapon, although he is solid all-around and doesn't make many mistakes. He is a great fighter, makes you earn your points.' Speaking about the many changes in his team in the last 12 months, Djokovic added: 'I do not care, I follow my heart and my instinct.

I believe that the decisions I make in my life are correct, even if they do not work for some people. For me, at that moment, emotion drags me forward, and of course I try to be rational and responsive, I do not make a decision based on every thought I have.'
