Grigor Dimitrov is not afraid of facing Novak Djokovic in a potential second-round round match at the Queen's. Speaking to reporters on Sunday, the Bulgarian player said that he is thinking match by match, and not particularly bothered by that possible and fascinating meeting.
'Every round matters a lot here it is as simple as that. I think it is going to be a tough battle either way and we still have to go through round number one. Obviously, some of the players are unseeded and they have had a great success over the years.
But at the same time, it is time to play, it is time to step up the game and if I have to play whoever in the early rounds I’m out there to make a difference. I like to say that a lot of things in life are about timing and maybe this is the time for me to get to the next step.
I need to do well against those kind of players early on to succeed', Dimitrov said. ALSO READ: Roger Federer explains his hectic schedule for next 48 hours
