Novak Djokovic has a new house. As reported by Hello Magazin, the 13-time Grand Slam winner and his wife Jelena decided to make a home being built near Pavlovac lake, Serbia, in order to enjoy the nature and the peaceful environment with their two children, Stefan and Tara. At the end of 2019, the project will be completed. They are closely following the process, especially Jelena who is constantly speaking with architects and interior designers. Novak is interested at it as well, but obviously playing tournaments around the world is now his priority. Novak's father, Srdjan, encouraged his son and Jelena to invest money on it.
Jelena is a big nature lover and as soon as she and Novak find free time, they go walking in the woods, sea or lake, depending on where they are. In particular, Stefan loves to run through fields and enjoy time with animals. Several trees and plants have been planted.
Djokovic recently earned more than $3 million from his Wimbledon title, making his career prize money increase to $114m. In March he bought an enormous building in Belgrade for around $675,000, an amazing penthouse featuring three baths, a big living room and three bedrooms among the many things. A few years ago the former world No. 1 purchased an apartment in Manhattan, Miami. Also, he owns a luxury house in Monte Carlo where he lives with his family.
Here below the area where the new house in Pavlovac will be built. Djokovic is currently training in Toronto ahead of his first-round match against Hyeon Chung on Tuesday at the Rogers Cup.
