Australian Open Kid's Day to feature Novak Djokovic, Grigor Dimitrov and...

A stunning Kids Tennis Day is set to take place on Saturday 12 January on the Rod Laver Arena at the Australian Open. The six-time tournament champion Novak Djokovic, the 2017 semifinalist Grigor Dimitrov plus the former winner Victoria Azarenka and Madison Keys will have fun tennis hit with kids from 11:00 to 11:45 AM.

The singer and entertainer Guy Sebastian will join the annual event. Also, characters like Peppa Pig and family, PJ MASKS and Octonauts, which are all loved by kids, will be there. The Tournament Director Craig Tiley was happy to announce the news through a statement.

It’s an awesome feeling watching thousands of kids take over the Australian Open on Kids Tennis Day,” said Tiley. “Walking around the site and seeing the kids on the court, enjoying the entertainment and experiencing the very best of our sport is what this event is all about.

It really comes to life at the Rod Laver Arena Spectacular, where they are amazed by the skills of the top players and hopefully inspired to play the game themselves. Tennis has always been a sport the whole family can enjoy and Kids Tennis Day is one of the highlights of the summer calendar.
