Borna Coric was impressed by Novak Djokovic's level at the Australian Open. The Croat saw that Djokovic was playing great already prior to the tournament while practicing with him. "I was playing a great set, but I lost 6-3.
The training was amazing, but he was better and I played at a very high level", said Coric. Asked if Djokovic can break Roger Federer's 20 Majors titles, Coric replied: 'I think he can, definitely. When I see him training and looking at everything, I do not see why he cannot play for five more years, and in those five years I think he can win five or six Majors.'
Coric also feels he is making improvements: 'I think my mentality changed a lot. I am much calmer on the ground and there are some technical details we worked on in the previous season. I know it's a long way to be a Grand Slam contender, a lot of work is needed.'
After losing the Shanghai Masters final to Djokovic, Coric had said; ' 'm just happy with the whole week. I think it was a really good week for me, from basically, you know, me thinking on Monday morning I'm going to fly out on Monday evening after my first match to playing finals, first in 1000 events.
It's awesome. I need to look from the positive sides, and I need to take only positives from this week.' ALSO READ: Rafael Nadal: Worse players than David Ferrer won a Grand Slam title
