Boris Becker enjoyed coaching Novak Djokovic. In an interview to C,NN Spain the six-time Major winner praised the Serbian player's humour. "It could not be more different to his on court demeanor. He is a funny man, he could do my serve, the most players' serves, the way he is - that accent - he is really a comedian, he is very intelligent, almost an intellectual", said Becker.
"History of the world in America and Serbia and he has a really interesting point of view. He is a man of many interests. Obviously, when he is on the court he wants to be the best player he can but when he is off the court you would not want really to be speaking about a tennis match."
Asked if Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal can reach Roger Federer's 20 Grand Slam titles record, the German replied: 'I think Rafa and Novak are in the hunt, I do not think it's impossible for them. In the very back of their mind, of course, they think about it, they would never talk about it and even Roger can win another one and I would never rule out his chance at Wimbledon.
On the grass with his game... He can add another one maybe, so let's see." On a clash between Djokovic and Nadal on clay at the best of five sets, Becker added: "Rafa going for his 12th French Open, I would not bet against Rafa in Paris.
Novak won Wimbledon, he won the Open last year, he can win the 17th, 18th. Let's see what the next year brings. They are very close."
