Serbia's Viktor Troicki didn't hide his enormous happiness after he and Novak Djokovic claimed the key win in the deciding rubber of the Serbia and Spain ATP Cup final tie. World No. 10 Roberto Bautista Agut saw off 34th-ranked Dusan Lajovic 7-5 6-1 in the opening rubber of the tie, before world No.
2 Novak Djokovic defeated world No. 1 Rafael Nadal 6-2 7-6 (4) to level the tie at one win apiece. Shortly after beating Nadal, Djokovic returned to the court and delivered for his side once again as he and Troicki defeated Pablo Carreno Busta and Feliciano Lopez 6-3 6-4 to compete a comeback win over Spain.
"I want to thank Novak for playing with me again. It was a great experience like always. I remember playing with him since we were nine, 10. To share such a moment on the court with him, I cannot describe it with words. As you said, I'll remember it for the rest of my life," Troicki said, per the ATP Cup.
Troicki also played doubles with Djokovic in the group stage as he and his close friend beat Edouard Roger-Vasselin and Nicolas Mahut in the deciding rubber to help Serbia finish the group with a perfect record.
