Eurosport tennis expert Mats Wilander has tipped Serbia's Novak Djokovic to win more Grand Slams this year as he thinks the Serb could potentially win 25 Majors before he calls it a career. Djokovic, who claimed a record eighth Australian Open title this past Sunday, now has 17 Grand Slams titles in his collection as he is three Major titles away from equaling Roger Federer's Grand Slam record.
The Serb, who started the year ranked at No. 2 in the world, also dethroned Spain's Rafael Nadal from the top spot after beating Austrian Dominic Thiem in the Australian Open final. The 32-year-old Serb was down two sets to one in the Australian Open final and he didn't feel well after losing the third set but he overcame all the difficulties to win 6-4 4-6 2-6 6-3 6-4.
"Novak Djokovic never panics, even when he is tired or frustrated. I would be surprised if he doesn't win at least two more Grand Slam titles this year. I even think he can win 25 Grand Slams before the end of his career," Wilander said, per L'Equipe.
