Novak Djokovic Foundation Becomes Official Partner of the UTR Pro Match Series

The Novak Djokovic Foundation has become the Official Partner of the UTR Pro Match Series tennis tournament – the first tennis tournament in the USA since the Coronavirus outbreak. The event is being held at a private court in West Palm Beach, FL, area with no spectators or public access.

The tournament will follow all the required safety precautions and guidelines. The Novak Djokovic Foundation has been implementing early childhood development programs for children in Serbia, and also raises the awareness of the importance of sport for the healthy development of children.

On their website, the foundation says, "It is our great pleasure to be the official partners of this UTR Pro Match Series tennis tournament that also spreads the message about the importance of sport and teamwork even in these troubled times.

As many as 125 million U.S. citizens will live-stream the tournament, just like people around the world, including Serbia. All of them will have the opportunity to learn more about our work, our investment in the construction and adaptation of kindergartens across Serbia, and our recent organized assistance to the Serbian people in the fight against COVID-19."

Maja Kremic, National Director of the Novak Djokovic Foundation, commented, "We are glad to see the world of sports slowly returns to its regular state as the pandemic slows down. One of the goals of the Novak Djokovic Foundation is to continuously point out how much sport is important for children’s growth, confidence and understanding of fair play.

For that reason, Novak Djokovic Foundation recognized the importance of the first official tennis tournament after the coronavirus outbreak, and we are extremely glad that we have the opportunity to support it as an official partner.

We plan on supporting and implementing other projects and initiatives that raise the awareness of the importance of sports in the future as well." The UTR Pro Match Series exhibition for men will take place on May 8-10, with a women’s event to follow on May 22-24.

Both events will offer prize money and will be broadcast live on TennisChannel.
