World No. 1 Novak Djokovic hit the practice courts this Monday at Club de Tenis Puente Romano as he has been spotted on the court with local Spanish player Carlos Gomez-Herrera, per Diario Sur. Djokovic, who has been staying with his family in Marbella ever since the coronavirus pandemic lockdown started, was allowed to return to the practice courts this week.

Two weeks ago, Djokovic appeared to break confinement rules in Spain by going back to a practice court.

What better than our city, good weather, beach and good training facilities. His stays are getting longer and longer, which gradually makes him more settled in Marbella and he'll probably settle definitively https://t.co/uu8cSFNdJQ pic.twitter.com/kKbVD4fyQv — C Kristjánsdóttir ●🐊 (@CristinaNcl) May 18, 2020
At that time, Spain allowed professional athletes to return to practices but sports facilities were supposed to remain closed for another week. Djokovic, a 17-time Grand Slam champion, posted a video on Instagram, in which he could be seen exchanging shots with another man on the practice court.
But this time Djokovic didn't break any rules when he hit the practice court with world No. 428 Gomez-Herrera. Djokovic started the season on the best way possible as he led Serbia to winning the inaugural ATP Cup title, before he conquered the Australian Open and Dubai.
