Vilella Martinez: "Novak Djokovic is the best in the world because ..."

Novak Djokovic is training these days in Marbella, where he recently moved his residence, and is working hard to start the 2021. The number 1 in the world has invested a considerable amount to set up a luxurious residence for him and for his whole family.

2020 was a bittersweet year for the Serbian champion, who remained undefeated until the suspension of the circuit occurred with the explosion of the health emergency linked to the well-known COVID-19 virus. The break from tennis brought criticism and controversy around Nole, attacked for the Adria Tour, and after the victory in Cincinnati, protagonist of the disqualification in the Round of 16 of the US Open tournament for having wrongly hit a line judge.

It would have been a great chance for Djokovic, in a Grand Slam without Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. This knockout has certainly destabilized Djokovic who still won the Internazionali d'Italia in Rome and succumbed to Nadal in the final at Roland Garros, in one of his most scorching defeats.

Vilella Martinez's words about Novak Djokovic

In an interview with Marca microphones, Mario Vilella Martinez explained why Djokovic is the best. Here are his statements about him: "Training with Novak Djokovic is definitely a very good thing for me.

We understand that he is number one in the world for how he hits the ball, both for how he makes it run and for how clean it is. I am really grateful for all the advice he gives me. Now I'm in the group with Pepe Imaz and Marko Djokovic, who is also here in Marbella."

Vilella's growth in the rankings was certainly held back by the freezing of the ranking and in this regard the tennis player said: "Whenever there is a connection between tennis players and tournaments it is good, I think that PTPA is also good for all insiders."

Novak Djokovic will start the season on February 1st at the ATP Cup where he will try to defend the title he won last year. The greatests tennis stars on the planet, like Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka, Ashleigh Barty, Simona Halep and all the others, will come back for the upcoming Australian Open 2021, which will be held in Melbourne from 8 February: it will be the most awaited sports event of the first part of the new season.

It will be a very spectacualr season, and all of us hope without the problems of the last one, with some presence of the crowd in the courts across the world. Roger Federer, after he said he will not play the Australian Slam, should come back on the court, for the joy of his fans, at the end of February or at the beginning of March.

The new season has yet to begin but there is already a desire to put a disastrous 2020 behind us from all points of view and start the new year with the first Grand Slam of the year in the hope that the pandemic can slowly regress and bring back the planet to live seriously and also allow the world of sport to perform in front of the general crowd.
