ATP 500 Basel - Federer Crushes Nishikori To Retain Title

Roger Federer retained his ATP 500 title in his hometown of Basel on Sunday, defeating Kei Nishikori 6-1, 6-3 in the final. Nishikori, who had defeated world number one Novak Djokovic in the semis on Saturday, looked uncomfortable from the start, and was never able to get a rhythm going.

Federer played well, and the crowd's support seemed to make him even more confident with each stroke, especially after winning the first set. It's Federer second title of the year, and he will next play in the Paris Masters 1000.
