ATP Masters 1000 Paris - Raonic Upset In First Round

Milos Raonic fell at the first hurdle at the Masters 1000 event in Paris on Monday, losing 6-7(5), 7-6(5), 6-4 to unheralded Frenchman Julien Benneteau. The Canadian has not played many tournaments since recovering from a hip injury earlier this year, but was in good form coming into the event.

Raonic was not at his best against Benneteau, and struggled to impose his big-serving game on the Frenchman. Raonic will likely not play any official events for the rest the year.
