Nicolas Mahut and Pierre Hugues Herbert win the first Masters 1000 of the season. They beat the defending champions Vasek Pospisil and Jack Sock 6-3 7-6(5) in 1 hour and 22 minutes. In the first set the French players broke their opponents' serve at 30 in the fourth game, and then they saved three break points in a row on 4-2.
The second set was more intense in terms of decisive moments: after having no break points, Mahut and Herbert saved two set points on 6-5 and in the tie-break were always under control: before they led 5-3 and then 7-5. It's the third title they win together after ATP Queen's and US Open in 2015.
Pospisil and Sock do not succeed to win their fifth career-title after Wimbledon and Atlanta 2014, and as we said Indian Wells 2015. It's the third final they lost together after Cincinnati 2014 and Miami 2015. ALSO READ: Official promise of marriage for Fabio Fognini and Flavia Pennetta (PICS INSIDE)
