ATP DOUBLES: Rajeev Ram and Raven Klaasen take the Chengdu Open title

Rajeev Ram and Raven Klaasen have captured the Chengdu Open doubles title after defeating Pablo Carreno-Busta and Mariusz Fyrstenberg in the final. In a tight contested encounter, the number one seeds managed to prevail over the fourth seeded pair 7-6 (2) 7-5.

The match lasted for one hour and 31 minutes. The doubles title in Chengdu was the second one of the season for the American and the South-African. Previously, the duo made it all the way at the Gerry Webber Open in Halle. Ram and Klaasen didn't drop a set on their way to winning in China.

Next up for the Chengdu Open champions will be next week's ATP 500 Tokyo. Meanwhile in Shenzhen, Fabio Fognini and Robert Lindstedt captured the glory as they surprised Oliver Marach and Fabrice Martin in the deciding match.

The unseeded pair needed two-sets in order to outclass the second seeds 7-6 (4) 6-3. The clash lasted one hour and 25 minutes. The Italian Fognini and his Swedish partner Lindstedt have never played before the Shenzhen Open as a pair this season.

The Austrian Marach and the French Martin now remain on two doubles titles won this year -- Chennai, Delray Beach. Marach and Martin will next play the Rakuten Open in Tokyo, where they're set to meet Aisam Ul-Haq Qureshi and Gilles Simon in the opening-round.
