ATP Monte Carlo: The Bryan Brothers capture sixth title in Monaco

No. 4 seeds Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan have captured their sixth Monte Carlo Masters title. The Americans defeated third-seeded Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic in the final 7-6 (5) 6-3. The Bryan brothers failed to close out the first set in the 10th game as they didn't convert any of their two set points.

Austrian Marach and Croatia's Pavic had a 5-2 tie-break lead but then they lost the following five points and found themselves trailing by a set. The Bryan brothers broke the No. 3 seeds three times during the second set on their way to clinching the title after an hour and 18 minutes of play.

The Americans, who went all the way at the Miami Masters last month, won 92 percent of their first serve points on their way to capturing their second Masters 1000 title of the year. On the other side, Marach and Pavic fell just short of landing their fourth title of the season.

Marach and Pavic haven't won a title since their historic January campaign -- which saw them win it all at Doha, Auckland and the Australian Open. Full result:
