ATP Finals: Juan Sebastian Cabal & Robert Farah avoid winless finish

Colombia's Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah have avoided finishing Group Max Mirnyi winless. Cabal and Farah, the year end No. 1 doubles team, handed a straight-set defeat to Germany's Kevin Krawietz and Andreas 7-6 (7) 6-2.

Krawietz and Mies had the lone break point of the first set in the seventh game but failed to convert and the first set went into a tie-break. The Germans had the first set point at 6-5 in the first set Cabal and Farah saved, before they realized their second set point at 8-7 to win a tight opener.

After missing out on their first set chances, Krawietz and Mies' game fell apart as Cabal and Farah claimed two breaks in the second set to get the job done in two sets. Cabal and Farah won 84 percent of their first serve points, 83 percent of their second serve points and saved 2-of-2 of Krawietz and' break point chances in an hour and 20 minutes of play.
