Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova won WTA International Linz beating 6-4 6-3 the German player Anna-Lena Friedsam, who was playing her first career-final. The Russian gets important points since she'll have to defend the WTA Moscow Title next week.
In the first set Anastasia was under control, played very strong and hit 3 aces. She won 69% 1st serve points and 88% 2nd serve points. In the first set the Russian broke her opponent and loses her first point on serve only in the eighth game.
The advantage taken at the beginning is enough to win the set for the Samara Native. In the second set Friedsam tried to react taking advantage of some unforced errors on serve by the Russian. Due to two double faults by Pavlyuchenkova, the German broke but on 2-0 didn't take advantage of 2 game points and got broken back.
Anastasia fund again confidence in her game and won 4 games in a row, before breaking again and winning 6-3. Eighth career-title for the 24 year old who lives in Moscow, where next week will defend the title won in 2014 beating in the final Irina Camelia Begu.
