Tennis- Third seed Sabine Lisicki and Sixth seed Eugenie Bouchard have booked their places in the Quarterfinals of the BMW Malaysian Open WTA Tournament whereas the seventh seed Su-Wei Hsieh was shown the exit door by Slovakia's Kristina Kucova. 2014 Wimbledon finalist Bouchard faced Japan's Kurumi Nara, who she had beaten in Osaka few years back in straight sets.

And once again the former World No.5 was in superb form as she needed only 65 minutes to win 6-1, 6-2. 2013 Wimbledon finalist Lisicki also advanced and could meet Bouchard next if both players win their Quarterfinals match.

In her second round match. The third seed was given a tough time by the Czech qualifier Barbora Krejcikova in the first set, as they were level until 5-5. But then Lisicki got a vital break and took the first set 7-5. In the second set Lisicki broke her opponent twice but Krejcikova broke back in next game both times.

The German got third break and this time Czech player was unable to break back. Lisicki took the second set 6-3 and reached last 8. 25-year-old Slovakian Kristina Kucova stunned the seventh seed Su-Wei Hsieh in 3 sets 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 in 1 hour and 50 minutes, the longest match of the day.

Kucova could face another seeded player, Elina Svitolina, the second seed for a place in the semifinals. In an all Chinese affair, Qiang Wang eased past Ying-Ying Duan in straight sets 6-4, 6-4. Also Read: WTA KUALA LUMPUR- Top seed Roberta Vinci stunned in the first round
