WTA 125k SAN ANTONIO - Misaki Doi beats Anna-Lena Friedsam to win the title

Not only Indian Wells for the WTA Tour this week. In WTA 125k San Antonio tournament Misaki Doi beat Anna-Lena Friedsam 6-4 6-2 to win her second career title after Luxembourg last year. The Japanese broke her opponent in the third game of the match, then got broken back and the decisive game was the seventh one, when Doi took her opponent's serve and then hold to win the first set.
In the second set Misaki completely outshined the German. Doi, who will be No. 44 next week (+11 in the rankings), played her fourth career-final, since she had previously lost two, in Taipei 2015 and Kaohsiung a few weeks ago.
Friedsam did not succeed to win her second career-title after Suzhou. She lost in Linz against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova. By next week the German will be World No. 52, moving up of 9 positions in the rankings. ALSO READ: Novak Djokovic: ´Rafael Nadal is one of the biggest players ever´
