Tennis- Former World No.1 Jelena Jankovic moved one more match closer to defending her Guangzhou International Women's Open title as she defeated the third seed Ana Konjuh and will face Ukraine's Lesia Tsurenko in the final.

It was second meeting between Jankovic and Konjuh, as they had also met earlier this year in Mallorca, when Jankovic had won in straight sets. This time Jankovic got the first break of the match in the fourth game but Konjuh got it back few games later to level it at 4-4.

Jankovic broke Konjuh in the 12th game to take the first set 7-5. But the Croatian started the second set by breaking Jankovic in the first game. She got another break in the fifth game to go 4-1 up but Jankovic got both breaks back to level at 5-5.

The set was decided by tie-break, where Konjuh had two set points at 6-4 but Jankovic saved both and won the tie-break 9-7 to reach the final. Jankovic will face Ukraine's Lesia Tsurenko to win the second title in Guangzhou, as Tsurenko reached her second WTA final after beating Estonia's Anett Kontaveit 6-4, 6-2.

Tsurenko had won her first WTA title in Istanbul last year. SINGLES - SEMIFINALS
