On the 9th-10th of December 2022, the last WTP event of this year was organized by ESTESS Tennis Academy in Seefeld-Tyrol/Austria. We are very grateful that Lexus Ellensohn and BauFi Direkt once again supported this important and extraordinary event.

Without such companies with such a great heart for tennis, no tournaments will find a consistent future. WTP is a great innovation in the tennis market. Since the start of 2018 WTP Tour has been a role model for other organizations to supply the market with a new and better alternative to competing in tennis.

The idea is simple: the players need short ways to tournament, short tournaments (2 days with hospitality), the possibility to acquire good prize money to spend on further career investment, and a presenting platform like a live stream.

Becoming a tennis professional takes a lot of passion and high investments. Therefore, many people need to support the upcoming players to reach their goals and live their dreams. WTP is a successful alternative way to support those players and prolong older professionals' tennis life by organizing international prize money events and distributing points across national borders.

Unfortunately, whether ATP/WTA or ITF is doing it. The National Tennis Associations are certainly organizing tournaments, however, the national points can not be used internationally. In this year's event in Seefeld, many great matches were played during the 2 days.

There is absolutely no doubt that the players earned their prize money with blood, sweat, and tears. Especially Mick Veldheer had a tough draw and was forced to, first, take on the indoor Austrian Champion 2022 Jakob Aichhorn in the second round, and then he stood up against the fighter Kris Krawcewicz in the semifinal.

Mick played 2 great matches and prevailed in both matches. In the final, he was upsetting his companion Sandro Kopp (ATP 468) in a thrilling match. At last, Mick could win in 3 tough sets. In the ladies' draw, the no. 3 seeded Polina Leykina upset the no.

1 Oana Simion in the semifinal in three sets. It was really surprising because Oana really played well during the tournament and started very well against Leykina. Nevertheless, the ultimate fighter Leykina never gives in and in the end, she could advance to the final where she faced Verena Melliss from Italy.

Polina was focused and continued her mission to become the WTP Champion 2022. She easily overcame all challenges. As a reward, she was handed over the winner's check of 2800€.
