Sebastian Eguez on his stunned reaction: Rafael Nadal probably thinks I have ADHD

Bolivian tennis player Sebastien Eguez revealed he was left "speechless" after meeting Rafael Nadal at the Indian Wells Masters. Nadal, a record 21-time Grand Slam champion, greeted Eguez - and the Bolivian was so stunned that he couldn't respond to the Spaniard.

Eguez eventually collected himself and took a photo with the former world No. 1. "Incredible to have a laugh with Rafa! I didn’t know he was there, and when he said 'Good Morning' I looked at him and I couldn’t answer a single word.

He probably thinks I have ADHD!!" Eguez wrote.

Nadal the favorite for the Indian Wells Masters title

Nadal is 15-0 as he will be aiming to win his fourth title of the season in Indian Wells.

Indian Wells tournament director Tommy Haas named Nadal as the "guy to beat here." “Rafa Nadal is now 35 years old and he’s never had a start to the season like this one, coming back from injury, winning three titles,” Haas said on the Tennis Paradise Podcast.

“He is, in my opinion, the guy to beat here, there is no doubt about it. And he obviously enjoys it here very much. “There are younger guys like [Andrey] Rublev, you look at [World No. 1 Daniil] Medvedev trying to prove a point, [Alexander] Zverev, [Stefanos] Tsitsipas, there are a lot of guys knocking on the door but Nadal has to be the favorite going into Indian Wells."

Nadal will be staying at the private residence of Indian Wells tournament owner Larry Ellison. “He is one of the players that gets to stay at Porcupine Creek, Larry Ellison’s private residence, where he can play 18 to 36 holes of golf every day if he wants to,” Haas said. “He likes it there and wants to stay for as long as he can. If he’s healthy, watch out”.
