Carlos Alcaraz has signed up to play an exhibition match against Tommy Paul at Plaza de Toros in Mexico City on November 29th. Last year, Rafael Nadal played an exhibition match against Casper Ruud in the same venue. This year, Mexican tennis fans will have a chance again to see a major tennis name in action at Plaza de Toros.
On paper, an Alcaraz and Paul matchup looks intriguing, considering that the American is one of the rare players who has had some success against the Spaniard. On the main level, Alcaraz and Paul have met four times and the head-to-head between the two stands at 2-2.
Alcaraz beat Paul at this year's Masters events in Miami and Cincinnati, while the American beat the Spaniard at the 2022 Montreal Masters and the 2023 Toronto Masters.

Alcaraz set to follow Nadal, play an exhibition in Mexico City
In late November, Alcaraz will play an exhibition match in the same venue where his idol played last year.
Just last week, Nadal spoke extremely highly of Alcaraz and what the 20-year-old has been able to accomplish so early. "I think that Carlos is little surprised by what he can do. He has been number one in the world until recently.
