There is a date for the return to the court of the 22-time Slam champion, who has been sidelined since early January due to the injury he suffered in Brisbane. Nadal will take to the court in the evening session on Thursday 7 March, a year and a half after his last participation in an ATP Masters 1000.

On that occasion, the Spanish tennis player was eliminated in the second round of the Paris Bercy tournament by the American Tommy Paul.

Nadal's goal is to get as many matches as possible in his legs before the real and gola, which is obviously the European season on clay courts. Nadal dreams of winning his 15th Roland Garros title, in what is expected to be his last season on the ATP Tour.

Rafa was back on the tennis court for an official match in Brisbane, making his debut with two good victories against Dominic Thiem and Jason Kubler.

Before his next official appearance in the USA, Rafa will be engaged in Las Vegas in the super exhibition event against Carlos Alcaraz, in a match that will also be broadcast on Netflix.

The Spaniard is a three-time champion of the Indian Wells tournament, in which he has a record of 59 wins and 11 defeats, and reached the final in his last participation two years ago, defeated only by Taylor Fritz, who interrupted a streak of 21 successes consecutive matches of the Spanish champion.
