Now Toni Nadal, Rafael's uncle and coach, took the monkey off many tennis fans, revealing what the true condition of Nadal's wrist currently is.
Speaking to a local Spanish television show, Toni confirmed how his protege will be back on court very soon. "Rafa can currently hit his backhand at 80% of the power and condition, but he will participate in the exhibition match in Astana and then we will fly together to Beijing and Shanghai.
We will also be full time for the European indoor season, as we will play at Basel, Paris Bercy and the year ending championships in London" revealed Toni. The Spaniard also confirmed how he will fly together with Rafael to Kazakhstan in order to play an exhibition match with Tsonga.
Finally, Toni talked about the tennis center that Rafael will be opening soon, in the upcoming years: "Rafael wants to invest on his country, on his city in Manacor. After all, Bollettieri enjoyed great success with his academy, Rafa could do the same..."
