Former Wimbledon champion, Pat Cash, believes that it is unlikely for World No.3 Rafael Nadal to feature all through a season in the rest of his career, as it is difficult for the Spaniard to cope up with the increasing physical strain.
"Rafael Nadal, I don’t think will play a full season for the rest of his life. It’s just very, very tough. For certain players, it’s more emotional, it’s more physical," Cash told Sport360 on the sidelines of the 2015 Mubadala World Tennis Championship.
Cash also spoke about Nadal's Wimbledon conqueror and young Australian star, Nick Kyrgios, who was compelled to give the rest of the season a miss due to exhaustion. "Kyrgios is quite an emotional kid, when he plays you can see how passionate he is, he felt like he needs some time off," he said.
"I think people are underestimating how tough it is on the circuit." In the recent years, Nadal has been in and out of the season due to various injuries that had forced him to pull out of some premier tournaments.
