Rafael Nadal defeated Serbian Viktor Troicki in the final of Mercedes Cup in Stuttgart on Sunday but then compensated him by giving him lift to London in his private jet on the very next day. Troicki posted a picture on his Twitter account in which he could be seen standing near the plane at the airport.
Nadal and his uncle Toni Nadal are also in the picture and in happy mood. Troicki wrote this caption for the picture, “Thanks to great champion Rafael Nadal for giving us lift to London!”

Nadal beat Troicki in straight sets 7-6, 6-3 in the final of Mercedes Cup to win his first title on grass courts since winning Wimbledon in 2010.The Spaniard praised Troicki after the match and said that his opponent would have many positives after a good week. Then both of them were heading to London to take part in AEGON Championships and Nadal had his private jet so he gave Troicki a lift.
Top players often hire a private jet when they have tight schedule and have to reach next destination quickly and sometimes they give lift to fellow players if they have space. Andy Murray gave lift to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in his private jet from Madrid to Rome couple of years back.
Once Roger Federer has given lift to Nadal and his girlfriend from Canada to Cincinnati. We are not sure if Nadal would have given Troicki a lift if he had lost to the Serbian in the final on Sunday. May be then Troicki would have paid the price by travelling on the passenger plane.
Jokes apart, Nadal is a kind human, he would have surely given a lift to Troicki even in case of losing the final to him.
