Andy Roddick is very active on Twitter. The former American player, who called it a career in September 2012 at the US Open, spoke about the difference of opinions between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer fans. 'When Rafa wins something, his fans start throwing darts at Federer When Fed wins, darts at Rafa.
Most annoying part about tennis fandom for me', Roddick tweeted. He also paid tribute to Nadal's tenth Roland Garros title after beating Stan Wawrinka 6/2 6/3 6/1 in the final on Sunday. '10... 10...10... you can say it as much as you want.
It's so not normal. Huge respect for Rafae Nadal .. pleasure to watch', wrote Roddick. He also joked about Rafa's dominance: 'He lost 35 games in the entire tournament... I'm pretty sure I've lost my car keys 35 times this year.' Roddick won the first meeting against Nadal at the US Open 2004 in straight sets but since then the American won only two more matches out of nine, in Dubai 2008 and Miami 2010.
Nadal beat him twice in Davis Cup (including in 2004 on clay in Sevilla) and twice in Indian Wells as well, in Queen's, ATP World Tour Finals and at the US Open in 2011, where they played against each other for the last time.
