It will be a very important North American hard-court season for Rafael Nadal, who comes back to play Rogers Cup he had withdrawn from the tournament last year due to wrist injury. The Spaniard will wear a yellow t-shirt in both the Masters 1000 events in August, Montreal and Cincinnati.
In Canada, Rafa will aim to win his fourth title after winning in 2005, 2008 and 2013, while in Ohio he has played only one final, winning it against John Isner in 2013. Rafa can become world no. 1 for the first time since October 2014 at the Rogers Cup, which starts on August 7. If Andy Murray, who is suffering an hip injury, skips the event and Nadal reaches semi-finals, Rafa will be at the top of the rankings again.
If Murray reaches the final, Rafa needs to win the title. At the US Open as always he will have two different outfits. For the day session, Rafa will wear a red t-shirt and white shorts, while for the night session he will wear all black.
In the Big Apple Nadal will try to triumph for the third time after doing it in 2010 and 2013 in the final over the Serbian Novak Djokovic. ALSO READ: Rafael Nadal enjoys free time on luxury yatch, then hits grass courts
