Rafael Nadal will receive a great honor and acknowledgment. The Spaniard player will have a street named after him in Valladolid, northwest of Spain, according to what local media revealed. The Valladolid City Council voted to rename a Rector Luis Suarez Street as Rafael Nadal Street to pay tribute to the 16-time Grand Slam champion.
Valladolid is the capital city of the province of Valladolid and of the autonomous community of Castile and Leon.
It has great communication network, its own airport and very quality connections leading to Madrid, the whole Spain, France and Portugal. Nadal won't be the first tennis player to receive this honor: in 2013 at Halle and in 2016 in Biel, a street was named after Roger Federer.
